There's nothing like some good WHOLE wings from the wing spot at home. I've been going to this place for years and can't quit them. Good selection of items from wings to fish, they got it all for you soul food hearts.

This is the third time we've waited over an hour for a call in order. The first time, I arrived after calling in an order. I waited. I asked the young lady after seeing a few people place orders and get their food before me to check for my order. She said it hadn't come up. Come to find out, our order was sitting in the window the entire time. I asked the original cashier (who is always sweet) to check and she came and pointed it out to the girl who'd taken her place. Total wait was about 45 to 50 minutes.

On one occasion, I called in and I placed an order for my mother and her coworkers for their lunch. She came from downtown and waited an hour after her arrival (not counting commute time) before they had the order ready. I had to call them to make sure they put it in during the call and the girl told me they don't cook until you arrive and pay which means it's pointless to call in.

Today my mom called in at 12:30, went to the restaurant and paid and waited. At 1:30 she was told that her order would be ten more minutes when she asked for a refund. The young lady walked off as my mother was talking to her explaining that she'd already waited entirely too long. This is the worst place when it comes to customer service. You come in and the girls are rolling their eyes and frowning every time I go and the one nice girl isn't there. They don't greet you or say hey I'll be with you in a moment. It's just horrible. Today was the final straw.

They have really awesome wings and FRIED OKRA & GREEN TOMATOES! They arw very popular in the community, so expect them to always be busy and have at least a 20 minute wait time on the smallest order. They say they accept call ins, but really they don't? They cook your order once you arrive.

Anyway, on to the food. The wings are amazing!  Each time I visit they are always amazing. I like the extra hot, seasoned, and honey hot.

My favorite menu item is the fried okra. They are cookes to perfection. The best I've ever had.

If you are in the neighborhood try them out. Don't plan to dine in the air is not working so, it feels like an oven in there.

I found nothing special about these wings AT ALL. They are deep fried and overcooked. Then they are dipped in a commercial buffalo sauce that you can buy at Sam's. Even if you ask for super hot, all they can do is dip them in a commercial sauce that sells by the jug. There is nothing that sets them apart from anyone else. Frozen fries and a roll out of a bag.

What's really disturbing for me was that both bathrooms were out of order. I would not have eaten there if I wasn't able to wash my hands. So I asked, and they unlocked the bathroom for me. They explained some of the things that happen to their bathrooms if they allow the public to use them. I appreciated being able to use their facilities, and they were clean, but this is a part of their job, and I believe it is required by law for them to provide a bathroom. I shouldn't have to beg to gain access. If they are unwilling to clean their bathrooms, they shouldn't be in business.

Price was good, for $8 even for wings, fries, and drink, after tax, but the food being so average, and their attitude with sharing a little plumbing, 3 stars is the best I can do.

This use to be a favorite of mine I will admit at least the service is better and little to no wait time but the food was absolutely disgusting. I will never go again. I love hot wings and they were the worst by far... I don't know what is going on but they should go back to the original recipe it was fire...
